How does auto-regeneration work?
The plugin hooks into WordPress's post-save action. Whenever a post, page or WooCommerce product is saved, WordPress automatically triggers a regeneration of the llms.txt in the background via WP-Cron – with no performance impact on site visitors.
Does the plugin work without WooCommerce?
Yes. The plugin works with any WordPress installation. WooCommerce data is only included when WooCommerce is active.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free reads your WordPress data locally – no external server involved. Pro uses the llmstxtgenerator.de API for full crawling with product drill-down, intent routing and 5 output formats. Three Pro tiers: Pro Solo (€4.90/mo, up to 500 URLs), Pro Business (€9.90/mo, up to 2,000 URLs), Agency (€19.90/mo, up to 10,000 URLs).
Do I need to upload a physical file?
No. The plugin serves llms.txt dynamically via WordPress rewrite rules. A physical file is optional and only needed for CDN setups that bypass WordPress.
Will the plugin slow down my website?
No. Generation runs asynchronously via WP-Cron. Delivery is cached and adds no database queries to normal page requests.
Which Pro key do I need?
Pro Solo, Pro Business or Agency – all three key types work with the plugin. Pro Solo is enough for sites up to 500 URLs, Pro Business for up to 2,000 URLs, Agency for 10,000 URLs and unlimited domains. Get a key here: llmstxtgenerator.de/pro/. Enter it under Settings → Mode → Pro and verify directly in the dashboard.
