Which tool when? The order that has proven itself
The nine tools build on each other. Used in this order, they find the actual cause instead of treating symptoms – and you will rarely need all nine.
- robots.txt AI Check – the starting point, because everything else depends on it. If your robots.txt blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot, no AI system sees your content, however good it is. The check covers 13 crawlers and tells you which line is in the way.
- AI Visibility Check – the inventory. Five categories (web foundation, AI files, brand, product knowledge, recommendation potential) show where you stand. The result is an assessment from on-page signals, not a live query of the AI systems – and it says so.
- Schema.org Checker – the readability. Structured data is the language in which AI systems read products, prices, organisations and FAQs unambiguously. The checker scores completeness and quality from 0 to 100; the code generator supplies missing markup for common CMS.
- AI Audit – when time is short: robots.txt, visibility, Schema.org and llms.txt in one pass, one overall score, the three most important actions. The audit does not replace the individual checks; it tells you which one to run first.

What these tools cannot do
None of these tools can guarantee that ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity will cite your site. Whether and how content flows into AI answers is decided by each system, and no provider has publicly committed to it. What can be checked: whether AI crawlers have access, whether they can read your content unambiguously, and whether they fetch the files. That is the foundation – nobody here promises more.
